Todd County Central senior Amy Brumfield scored 16 points and the Lady Rebels held a lead after the first quarter and only trailed by 4 at the half against visiting Logan County on Thursday night. However, the Lady Cougars pulled away in the second half for a 52-35 victory.
Afterward, Brumfield talked about the Lady Rebels’ first-half performance, and what their strong play over the first 16 minutes Thursday night could mean should they see the Lady Cougars in the postseason.
