Cathryn Brown was all smiles when she came off the 18th hole at the Bowling Green Country Club Tuesday. The Lyon County freshman knew she had done enough to advance to the second day of the Leachman Buick-GMC-Cadillac/KHSAA State Golf Tournament on Wednesday. After her round of 81 that left her tied for 23rd, Brown talked about having her father help as her coach during the round, what advice her brother Cullan gave her, and the part of her game that helped her into the second round.
