Todd County needed four sets to claim a district win over Franklin-Simpson Tuesday to wrap up the No. 2 seed in the 13th District Tournament. The Lady Rebels dropped the first set 25-20 before rallying to win the final three sets 25-22, 25-15, 25-19.
It marked the second time in as many seasons that Todd had dropped the first set against the Lady Cats and come back for the win. They also pulled off the feat in last year’s district tourney.
Todd County Central has won three straight matches at Franklin-Simpson for the first time in four years.
The Lady Rebels [3-2] look to get their first win over Hopkinsville in six seasons Thursday when they play the Lady Tigers at Tiger Gym.
