Hopkins County Central won the girls’ 7th District championship for the first time since 2017, defeating Madisonville-North Hopkins 46-45 in the title tilt Friday night in Princeton.
Both teams will play again Tuesday in the 2nd Region tournament, with the Lady Storm hosting a first-round game and the Lady Maroons going on the road in the opening round.
