Lady Storm Thunder Past Fort Campbell

A tough start to the 2021 softball season continued Thursday evening for the Fort Campbell Lady Falcons. The Lady Falcons were limited to just three hits as the Hopkins County Central Lady Storm pounded out ten of their own on the way to a 21-0 three-inning win on post.

The Lady Storm put up a ten spot in the first inning and never looked back from that point. Hopkins Central would add four runs in the top of the second and then seven more in the top of the third.

The Lady Storm were able to take advantage of seven walks and five hit batters over the course of the three innings. Emmaleigh Crook and Mercy Sutton each had four RBI’s for Hopkins County Central.

Kalli Bannister, Samantha Forristal, and Hope Balzeski each had a hit for Fort Campbell.

Kiley McCrary pitched all three innings for the Lady Falcons, giving up ten hits, striking out three, while walking seven.

The loss drops the Lady Falcons to 0-6 on the year.
