The Caldwell County Tiger tennis team continued a strong season by sweeping seven matches from Union County on Monday at the CCHS tennis courts.
The Tigers dropped just nine games in seven matches with the Braves.
In singles:
Billy Wallace beat Chris Sabino 8-5;
Nick Adams routed Aiden Moore 8-0;
Grayden Miller handled Kaleb Rust 8-2;
Bryce Thompson blanked Grant Deibler 8-0.
In doubles:
Jordan Hammett/Ryan Hammett defeated Sabino/Moore 6-0 6-0;
Wallace/Adams blitzed Rust/Deibler 8-0;
Cannon Littlejohn/Cason Littlejohn turned back Rust/Deibler 8-2.
Caldwell County tennis is at home again Tuesday against Lyon County.
It will be Senior Day for Caldwell, which will honor only its lone senior, Tiger Jordan Hammett.
