Since a one-point loss to Logan County in late September, the Hopkinsville Tigers have now won five-straight games after a 52-14 blowout of Hopkins County Central in the opening round of the playoffs on Friday.
Senior running back Jay’Den Dillard has been instrumental in both of the Tigers’ wins over the Storm this season, running for almost 150 yards and a score in the regular-season meeting and exploding for 224 yards and three touchdowns in the playoff victory.
Dillard discussed his big night and pointed to improved preparation for the Tigers’ win streak.
