Caldwell County sophomore guard Carter Whittington not only had 16 points in the Tigers’ 87-83 win at Union County on Saturday, but also helped take care of the basketball. Caldwell had only nine turnovers despite facing a press much of the night.
Whittington showed good concentration at the free throw line, making 9 of 11 attempts including some big ones late with the game on the line.
His concentration skills also came in handy after the game, as some of his teammates tried to distract him while he was being interviewed by YSE.
