Hopkinsville High brought home a 17th place finish Thursday at the Christian County Wrestling Invitational.
Trushaun Matt finished in sixth place in the 113-pound class. After losing in sudden death in his opening match, Matt, ranked sixth in the state in the class, won three straight matches before losing in the consolation semifinals to Paducah Tilghman’s Jayven Williams.
Dontre Quarles won his opening match in the 190-pound class and earned four points for the Tigers
As a team, Hopkinsville finished in 17th place with 16 points.
