Prolific Prep (Calif.) guard M.J. Rice, a Kansas signee, has played against Cason Wallace and Skyy Clark, both UK signees he could face in college.
“Cason is a great player. I went against him in AAU,” Rice said. “He’s a true point guard. He can score when he wants to or needs to. He is such an athlete. He is so smooth with the ball, too. He’s also really smart.”
Rice played with Clark at USA Basketball and says he’s also a true point guard with multiple skills.
“He can score but really his main focus is to get everybody else involved in the game,” Rice said. “If everybody is not in the game, he gets on you and helps you. He’s that kind of leader. That is what I really think about him.
“I played with him and know what he can do at point guard. His first objective is to make sure everybody is in the game mentally, physically, and everything else. He can do what he has to do to make sure a team wins.”
