
A 3-pointer by Dashawn Willett to end the first half provided the momentum Evansville Harrison needed in the third quarter as they pulled away for a 62-47 win over Christian County Friday.
The game was the first of three in the next two days for the Colonels at Harrison High.
Willett’s 3-pointer was his first points of the game and gave Harrison a 16-15 halftime lead.
Jahni Summers picked up three first half fouls and was relegated to the Harrison bench with two points. He responded with 10 points in the third quarter as Harrison outscored the Colonels 28-18.
Jordan Miles tried to keep pace by scoring eight of his 11 points in the third quarter. Derrell Bateman led the Colonels with 17 points.
Christian County will try and snap a five-game losing streak with two more games Saturday against Evansville Bosse and Castle High.
