
Playing in its first Kentucky Christian Athletic Conference State Tournament, Heritage Christian Academy made quick work of North Hardin Classical to move into Saturday’s semifinals.
The Warriors rode a balanced scoring attack to beat their KCAA rival 62-28 in Louisville. HCA will play Christian Fellowship in the semifinals.
Ten Warriors scored in the game with Trenton Hayes knocking down a pair of 3-pointers and leading the way with 12 points. He added five steals and four assists.
Weston Powell scored seven points and grabbed a team-high nine rebounds. Matt Wills added 10 points as the Warriors closed the game on a 20-1 run. Landen Wells came off the bench to score eight points.
