Derrin Boyd had a team-high 18 points but the Georgetown Tigers saw their eight-game winning streak snapped by Thomas More on Monday, 85-74.
The game was a makeup date in Georgetown.
Boyd, the former Caldwell County star, was 7 of 13 from the floor and 4 for 4 at the free throw line in the contest. He also grabbed four rebounds.
Boyd leads Georgetown in scoring at 17.2 points a game this season.
Thomas More, ranked 10th in NAIA, built a 50-30 halftime lead then held off 17th-ranked Georgetown down the stretch.
The Tigers got as close as seven points, 79-72, with less than a minute to play, but could get no closer.
Georgetown is now 16-3 overall and 9-3 in the Mid-South Conference.
The Thomas More Saints are 18-2 and 12-1.
Georgetown will next host Pikeville on Thursday.
