
Amiyah Collier scored 15 of her game-high 17 points in the first half as Russellville built a big lead and held on for a 48-28 win over the Todd County Central Lady Rebels Wednesday night.
Russellville scored the first 11 points of the game before Alexis Taylor got Todd County Central on the board with a bucket with 4:01 left in the opening quarter.
The Panthers would extend its lead to 16-3 and led 31-15 at halftime. Lareesha Cawthorne joined Collier in double figures for the Lady Panthers with 11 points.
Todd County Central, playing without at least two players due to Covid protocols, got 12 points from Abby Williams and seven from Taylor.
The Lady Rebels dropped to 6-12 with the loss. The teams are scheduled to meet again Friday night in Russellville weather permitting.
