
A tough second half saw Christian County fall at Whitesville Trinity 52-40 on Tuesday.
The Colonels (7-18) got off to a solid start, leading 15-13 after one quarter and taking a 28-22 advantage to halftime.
But Christian put up just 12 points in the second half.
Meanwhile, the 3rd Region school outscored the Colonels 18-8 in the third quarter to go in front 40-36.
The host Raiders used a 12-4 advantage in the final frame to put the game away.
Derrell Bateman had 19 points but was the only Christian player to score in double figures.
Trinity (13-10) got 15 points from Nathan Hernandez and 13 from Landon Huff.
The Colonels will play again on Thursday when they host Fort Campbell for 8th District action.
