Paducah Tilghman used a big second half to turn back Caldwell County’s girls 68-47 Friday night in Paducah.
The Lady Tigers battled the Lady Tornado to a 12-12 tie after one quarter and a 25-25 deadlock at halftime.
However, Tilghman (10-11) outscored Caldwell 18-6 in the third quarter to go up 43-31 and went on to post a 21-point triumph.
Diamond Gray had 28 points to pace the Lady Tornado while Rosie Minter netted 17. Daisa Garland added 10.
Caldwell (10-15) got 13 points from Parris Gray and 10 from Brylee Butts.
The Lady Tigers will go to Ohio County Saturday afternoon before hosting Livingston Central on Monday.
