
Trigg County junior Jeri Beth Oliver scored a top-10 finish at the NASP High School State Archery Tournament in Louisville Saturday.
Oliver shot a 290, which put her in sixth place out of 1,566 high school girls’ shooters. Mackenzie Cooper shot a 285, which was good for 38th place.
Trevor Hoy had the top score for the guys with a 286 that slotted him in 50th place out of 1,548 shooters. Josh Ingram shot a 285 to finish in 57th place.
As a team, Trigg County finished in sixth place with 3,361 points which were 18 behind state champion Pulaski County. Bullitt Central finished one point back in second place.
Trigg County will host the KHSAA Region One tournament Saturday at Wildcat Gym.
