The Trigg County softball team is off to a dominant start to the 2022 season, outscoring their opponents 26-0 to move to 2-0.
On Thursday, the Lady Wildcats only needed four innings to dispatch visiting Dawson Springs, rolling to a 15-0 victory behind three RBI each for MaKenna Hendricks and Rylee Hendricks.

A 10-run 3rd followed, highlighted by an inside-the-park grand slam by Rylee Hendricks. Audrey Alexander drove in a run with a triple, and Brynlee Smock twice singled in a run.
MaKenna Hendricks finished her perfect night at the plate with a two-run triple and came home on an error to end the game.
Stone and MaKenna Hendricks were both 3 for 3, and Alexander and Smock each had two hits.
Brylee Spurlin and Hailey Goodaker each had a hit for the Lady Panthers. Trinity Randolph took the loss in the circle.
Trigg County will hit the road on Monday for a big test at Marshall County.
