An eight-run third inning was the difference as University Heights Academy turned back Trigg County 11-5 in baseball action Saturday in Hopkinsville.
On a cool, damp, gray day at UHA, the Blazers overcame an early 2-0 deficit to improve to 3-1.
University Heights sent 14 men to the plate in their big inning.
Trigg (0-3) had scored once in each of the first two innings to grab the upper hand.

Ben Stone singled to center with the bases loaded to knot the ballgame at 2-2. Jaiden Miles singled home the go-ahead run.

Another run in the fourth and two more in the fifth made it 11-2.

Hunt and Miles each finished 2-for-4 with an RBI to lead the UHA offense.
