
The Trigg County girls’ archery team just missed out on a regional championship Saturday. The Lady Wildcats took 2nd place during the 1st Region archery tournament at Trigg County High School. Trigg County finished with a team score of 1947 for the day.
Trigg County’s best performance came from Jeri Beth Oliver, who shot a 288, placing her 3rd overall in the girls’ division. Madelin Morrow was not far behind with a 285, which was good enough for 5th place.
