The University Heights Academy girls’ track and field team finished in ninth place Saturday at the Henderson County Classic as the team continues its work to slot people in the right events.
Piper Hancock and Emma Dill each captured top-two individual finishes
UHA finished in ninth place with 32 points, one point out of eighth place.

Piper Hancock – 1st in the 800-meter run (2:44.2)
Emma Dill – 2nd in the 300-meter hurdles (56.5); 6th in the 100-meter hurdles (19.5)
Aliviah Acree – 8th in the 200-meter dash (30.5); 15th in the 400-meter run (1:16.7)
DeAijah Tullis – 8th in the high jump (4-4); 9th in the long jump (11-09.5); 11th in the triple jump (25-03.50)
Lucy Wilkins – 10th in the 1600-meter run (6:41.6); 11th in the 800-meter run (3:01.3)
Maddie Martin – 17th in the 100-meter dash (15.5); 20th in the long jump (10-00.5)
The 1600-meter relay team of Emma Dill, Piper Hancock, Maddie Martin, and Aliviah Acree came in third place with a time of 4:54.7.
The 800-meter relay team of Audrey Grise, Aliviah Acree, Piper Hancock, and Emma Dill finished in fifth place in 2:05.7.
