It was one of the few sporting events across the area to take place Tuesday afternoon. The tennis teams from Hopkinsville High School hosted the teams from Fort Campbell at Ruff Park.
In the girls’ competition, the Lady Tigers rolled to a 9-0 sweep of the Lady Falcons. Hoptown won every game of every set in the match, taking the six singles matches and the three doubles matches.
On the boys’ side, Fort Campbell took the team win 2-1. The Falcons won the two singles matches, while the Tigers took the one doubles match that was played.
