Lyon County senior Hadlie Butler will be making her third trip to the All A Classic state tournament.
Butler and the Lady Lyons defeated Caldwell County 14-4 in five innings Tuesday night in the 2nd Region championship game in Smithland.
A year ago, Butler and Lyon claimed the top prize at the state tourney, and will get a chance this next week to defend their state championship.
YSE caught up with Butler following Tuesday’s regional title game.
