The Caldwell County boys’ tennis team dropped just one singles match while defeating Webster County 7-1 on Friday in a makeup date at the CCHS tennis courts.
Singles wins for Caldwell were Ryan Hammett over Leo Vasquez 6-4, 6-4; Nick Adams over Cade Howell 8-4; Grayden Miller over Miles Frailey 8-4; and Cason Littlejohn over Shelby Buckman 8-1.
Reid Davenport defeated Billy Wallace 8-4 for Webster’s lone win.
Caldwell swept the three doubles matches.
Wallace/Miller defeated Davenport, Frailey 6-2, 6-4; Hammett/Adams beat Howell/Vasquez 8-2; and Bryce Thompson/Littlejohn topped Ashton Brown/Buckman 8-2.
