Caldwell County’s guys claimed eight of nine matches to defeat Lyon County in action Thursday at the CCHS tennis courts.
In singles matches:
Ryan Hammett (CC) defeated Jackson Crawford 6-0, 6-0;
Billy Wallace (CC) def. Dalton Phillips 8-0;
Nick Adams (CC) def. Mason Byassee 8-4;
Grayden Miller (CC) def. Collin Calhoun 8-1;
Walker Suitor (LC) def. Bryce Thompson 8-4;
Cason Littlejohn (CC) def. Warren Parker 8-1.
In doubles:
Wallace/Miller (CC) def. Phillips/Byassee 6-1, 6-1;
Hammett/Adams (CC) def. Crawford/Calhoun 8-2;
Thompson/Cannon Littlejohn (CC) def. Suitor/Parker 8-6.
Caldwell will make up a home match against Webster County on Friday.
Lyon is scheduled to go to Webster on Monday.
