Top-3 Placements Vault Lady Blazers to 3rd Place at Hoptown Invitational

The University Heights Academy girls’ track and field team claimed a third-place finish Saturday at the Hopkinsville Invitational at the Stadium of Champions.

Jaila Batey – 1^st in the discus throw (84-10); 3^rd in the shot put (28-4)

Audrey Grise – 1^st in the 100-meter hurdles (18.72); 1^st in the 300-meter hurdles (52.66)

Emma Dill – 2^nd in the 300-meter hurdles (52.75); 3^rd in the 100-meter hurdles (19.56)

Ragen Pollard – 3^rd in the discus throw (84-0); 4^th in the shot put (27-7)

Lucy Wilkins – 3^rd in the 3200-meter run (16:10.17); 10^th in the 800-meter run (3:01.40); 13^th in the 1600-meter run (7:00.64)

Aliviah Acree – 7^th in the 400-meter dash (1:11.80); 10^th in the 100-meter dash (14.80); 14^th in the 200-meter dash (31.03)

Maddie Martin – 11^th in the long jump (12-4); 20^th in the 100-meter dash (15.80); 22^nd in the 200-meter dash (34.34)

The 1600-meter relay team came in fourth place in a time of 4:55.85.
