Officials have announced the details concerning the 2022 8th District baseball tournament which is just over a week away. This year’s tournament is being hosted at Hopkinsville High School.
Play in the tournament will begin Sunday afternoon, May 15.
The first game of the day will find the top-seed Christian County taking on Fort Campbell at 2:30.
The second game, which will be at 4:30, or thirty minutes after the conclusion of the first game will have Hopkinsville taking on University Heights.
The 8th District championship game is scheduled to be played Monday, May 16 at 7:30.
Tournament officials have announced that if weather causes a cancellation games will be pushed back to the next day.
For the tournament, all fans will enter through the Tiger Field Gate.
Tickets will be $7 at the gate. Children 8 and under will get in for free. Students will pay for tickets. No Coaches Cards or Season Passes will be permitted.
