The Lady Colonels will return to the regional final on Monday after defeating Caldwell 9-6 in Saturday’s semifinals in Henderson.
Christian County will face host Henderson County at 1 p.m. Monday afternoon for a berth in the state tourney in Lexington.
Senior Pickle Winkler was a big reason for the Lady Colonels’ semifinal win. The University of Louisville signee was 4-for-4 with a home run and four runs scored.
