Caldwell County’s Claire Knoth finished 2nd and University Heights’ Conlee Lindsey was 5th at the Bluegrass Golf Tour event at Paxton Park in Paducah on Thursday.
Knoth had the lead with a 38 after the front nine but shot a 41 on the back to finish with an 8-over 79, one shot back of winner Baylee Kelley.
Conlee Lindsey improved on a 44 on the front to shoot a 41 on the back for a 5th-place showing. UHA’s Rheagan Lindsey was two shots back of her sister to tie for 6th with an 87.
On the boys’ side, Madisonville North-Hopkins’ Ben Dickerson finished with a +8 79 to tie for 3rd. He was three shots back of Palmer Sims’ 1st-place 76.
Trigg County’s Ty Butts posted matching 42s to tie for 11th.
