It’s been a whirlwind of a year for J.T. Adams. After winning a state wrestling title at Christian County, Adams moved to Paducah Tilghman and suffered a season-ending knee injury early in the campaign. It meant he couldn’t defend his state wrestling title at his new school and meant a slow start to the track and field season.
Adams was able to throw the shot put for the first time at the Region I Meet three weeks ago and won the title. He expects to be fully cleared in time to throw at Friday’s state meet in Lexington.
