Hopkins County Central graduate Kaden Groves is a cancer survivor. He lost vision in one eye but that hasn’t stopped him from being a two-year starter on the Storm football team and a pair of top-2 finishes in the shot put at region.
It’s that perseverance that made Kaden a selection to the 2022 Tom Leach All-Resilient Team.
Groves gets one final chance to reach the medal podium at the state track and field meet Friday in Lexington.
