
The Caldwell County High School basketball teams held their Youth Camp this week, with more than 75 youngsters taking part.
The camp ran each morning Monday through Wednesday at both the CAB gym at the high school and the middle school gym.
Camp award winners were announced following the final day.
Passing Champion awards were presented to Waylon Jackson (PreK-K), Beckham Bell (3rd-4th), Jaxton Steesel (5th-6th).
Obstacle Course Champions were Dane Maddox (1st-2nd) and Junior Thompson (5th/6th).
Defensive Course Champions were Reid Crayne (PreK-K), Hadley Kukahiko (1st-2nd), Cohen Schott (3rd-4th), Laban Hawkins (5th-6th).
Hot Shot winners were Camden Felker (PreK-K), Cali Jackson (1st-2nd), Max Hooks (3rd-4th), Jase Sigler (5th-6th).
Speed Dribble winners were Alexander Wilson (PreK-K), Gatlin Rogers (1st-2nd), Preston Peek (3rd-4th) and Landon Mitchell (5th-6th).
Character Award winners were presented blue and gold basketballs. They were Cash Faughn (PreK-K) and Evie Jo Freeman (1st-2nd).
The camp was conducted by the CCHS coaching staffs and members of the Tiger and Lady Tiger basketball teams.
