Lyon County American Legion Post 68 baseball played twice on Sunday in the Chappel Allen Invitational in Eddyville.
Lyon opened the day with a 7-3 win over Newburgh, Ind., but then fell to Rockport, Ill., 11-1.
Rockport won the round-robin event with a 3-0 record.
Lyon County is now 4-3 on the season. The team plays at West Frankfort, Ill., on Monday.
