Home runs on back-to-back days for Tate VanHooser in the Myrtle Beach League.
The former Caldwell County Tiger standout had a solo home run to left field in the top of the fourth inning of Thursday afternoon’s game, but VanHooser’s Carolina Loggerheads dropped a 5-3 decision to the Coastal Breeze.
VanHooser finished the game 1-for-3 with an RBI.
It was VanHooser’s second home run in as many days and his third home run in six days. He has four home runs this month in the Myrtle Beach League.
Friday is a Scout Day for the league.
A league all-star game will be played on Tuesday.
