Trigg County golfer Ty Butts improved eight shots from round to round to finish tied for 18th place at the Bluegrass Golf Tour’s Cullan Brown Invitational Tuesday.
After a first round 83, Butts shot a three-over-par 75 Tuesday. He holed out for an eagle on the par 5 17th hole to shoot a one-under 35 on the back nine.
Rafe Blankenship of Allen County-Scottsville won the two-day event at seven under par.
