
Landon Hunt got his high school season off to a solid start Friday with a fourth-place finish at the Daviess County Invitational in Owensboro.
Hunt, a freshman, shot a 2-over par 73 to finish in a tie with Marshall County’s Trey Wall. He shot 1-over par on each side of Ben Hawes State Park Golf Course.
Drew Fincham shot a 92 for the Colonels followed by Tea Martinez (106) and Talan Ezell (113).
As a team, Christian County totaled 384 points to finish in 15th place.
The Colonels return to the course Monday at the Henderson County Invitational.
