When Caldwell County senior Sydney McKinney isn’t turning flips with the CCHS cheerleaders, she’s busy in the classroom or volunteering her time for worthy causes.
McKinney carries a 4.0 GPA and recently returned from Governor’s Scholars.
McKinney is a Dual Credit Student. She will graduate Gen-Ed certified, meaning she has completed all of her general education college courses.
A member of the National Honor Society, McKinney has served as Class President her freshman, sophomore and junior years. She will run for Student Council President this year.
McKinney plans to attend the University of Kentucky after high school, majoring in Biology (Pre-Dentistry), and hopes to pursue a career in dentistry.
McKinney is an active member in FFA and is also a Farmers Bank Ambassador.
Here is a list of even more of her achievements:
• All District Athletic Academic Team (2020, 2021, 2022)
• Caldwell County High School Cheerleader Member of FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes)
