
A 1-over-par round of 73 netted Christian County’s Landon Hunt a third-place finish on Saturday in the Madisonville-North Hopkins Invitational golf tournament.
Hunt shot a 36 on the front side and a 37 on the back nine at the Lakeshore Country Club course.
Marshall County’s Trey Wall was medalist with a 1-under 71. That helped the Marshals capture the team championship with a score of 295.
Hunt and Henderson County’s Josh Thompson each shot 73, as did Marshall’s Ryan Stokes. Thompson took second on a scorecard playoff while Hunt was third.
Other scores for Christian County saw Drew Fincham and Talen Ezell each shoot 100 while Tae Martinez carded a 104.
