The struggle to find the net early in the 2022 soccer season continued to be an issue for the Christian County Lady Colonels Thursday night. Fiona Caywood finished with a hat trick to help lead the Paducah Tilghman Lady Tornado to a 5-1 win over the Lady Colonels at the Stadium of Champions.
Caywood found the net on three of her six shots in the match for Tilghman in leading the Lady Tornado to the win.
Christian County’s goal in the match was scored by Cayleigh Clay, off an assist from Alayah Lander.
Olivia Fentress ended up with 15 saves in goal for the Lady Colonels.
With the loss, Christian County falls to 0-2 on the young season. The Lady Colonels are set to return to action Monday when they host Muhlenberg County.
