Hunter Reynolds and Ty Butts both finished with rounds of 76 Saturday to lead the Trigg County Wildcats at the Semi-State Preview for Regions 1-4. The tournament was played at the Park Mammoth Golf Course in Park City.
Reynolds and Butts finished in a tie for 24th place in the event. Luke Coyle, of Taylor County, burned the course up for an 8-under par round of 62 to take medalist honors. Seth Smith, also from Taylor County, took second place on the day.
In the team competition, Taylor County ran away with the day with a team score of 263. That score was 25 shots better than runner-up Bowling Green. Trigg County finished in 12th place with a score of 323.
