The Todd County Central Lady Rebels have now won two of their last three matches. Led by a pair of scores from senior Madison Henderson, the Lady Rebels blanked Russellville 3-0 Tuesday evening in Elkton in a key 13th District contest.

Henderson scored at the 09:00 mark of the opening half to give the Lady Rebels the early 1-0 lead. That score would stay in place until Henderson found the net around the 35:00 mark to give Todd County Central a 3-0 lead that they would take into the break.

The two goals from Henderson give her eleven on the season and her second goal of the night was the 60th of her career.

For most of the second half, the Lady Rebels defense was the story as they simply did not allow the Lady Panthers many good looks at the net. In addition to the play of Darby Delph in the net, Todd Central got solid defensive efforts from Jeidy Saguilan, Brisa Velasco-Ramirez, Scarlett Lancaster, and Mariela Colmenares-Cruz.

Ciara Collins would add a goal in the 79th minute of the contest to wrap up the scoring.

The win moves the Lady Rebels to 2-4-1 overall and 2-1 in 13th District play.

Todd Central is set to be in action Thursday when the Lady Rebels go on the road to take on Caldwell County.
