
Caldwell County’s guys have won back-to-back games for the first time this season.
The Tigers were victorious on the road Tuesday night, shutting out 7th District foe Hopkins County Central 2-0 in Mortons Gap.
Grayden Miller scored both goals for the Tigers. He put Caldwell up 1-0 midway through the first half, then put the game away with another tally late in the contest.
Colt Babb and Nick Adams had assists for Caldwell, which is now 3-4-2 overall and 1-1 in district play.
Corbin Nichols recorded the shutout in the Tiger net, recording 10 saves in the contest.
The Tigers have taken three straight from the Storm and lead 25-7-1 all-time.
Caldwell’s guys, who also won 6-2 at Lyon County on Friday, will play at home on Thursday against Trigg County.
