
Down 2-1 on Thursday against visiting Christian County, the Heritage Christian Academy volleyball team rallied to tie the match and took a 15-11 victory in the fifth set to top the Lady Colonels.
The Lady Warriors win their seventh in a row to improve to 10-2 with a trip to Mayfield coming up on Tuesday. HCA took the season’s first meeting with the Lady Cardinals 3-2.
Heritage breezed to a 25-13 win in the opening set, but Christian County won 25-22 and 25-21 in the second and third to take a 2-1 lead.
HCA found its footing in the fourth and took it 25-20, setting up a decisive fifth set. The Lady Warriors kept the momentum and won 15-11 to settle the match.
Christian County slips to 4-15 with wRECk @ The Plex coming up on Saturday. The Lady Colonels will open against Owensboro Catholic.
