Turned out to be a tough day to make a trip to Madisonville for the Lyon County Lady Lyons. On Senior Day for the Lady Maroons, Madisonville-North Hopkins rolled to a 10-0 win over the Lady Lady Lyons.
Madisonville scored on a Lillie Carman goal just eight minutes into the match to take a 1-0 lead and the Lady Maroons were rolling from there.
K.J. Justice scored three times in the opening half and Madison Hill scored two as the Lady Maroons took a 6-0 lead at the break.
As the teams back to action in the second half, it was more of the same. Hill scored twice more, Justice added one more, and then Kailey Barber scored to end the match at 10-0.
Madisonville improves to 6-8-1 with the win.
The Lady Lyons fall to 7-10 on the year. Lyon County will open the final week of the regular season Tuesday when they host Mayfield.
