UHA’s Conlee Lindsey made her second career appearance at the KHSAA State Golf Championship over the weekend, just missing a top-50 finish with an 89 at Bowling Green Country Club on Saturday.
After an 88 in Friday’s first round, Lindsey was plagued by four double bogeys on the front to make the turn with a 45 on Saturday. Her lone birdie of the day came on the par-4 8th hole.
Lindsey carded pars on two of the first three holes on the back, but two double bogeys and a pair of bogeys left her with a 17-over 89 for the day.
She finished with a two-day score of 177 to tie with four other golfers in 51st place.
