It was a win that got the Fort Campbell Falcons into the Class 2A playoffs for the first time since 2019. The Falcons ran past Ballard Memorial last Friday night for a 38-6 district win at Fryar Stadium.
Junior receiver Maurice Moore had a very big night as he helped lead the Falcons to the win. And for his efforts in the win over the Bombers, Moore has been named this week’s Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game.’
In the win over Ballard Memorial, Moore caught three passes for 48 yards. Moore was quite efficient with his play, as all three receptions were for touchdowns.
For the season, Moore is tied for the lead in receptions for the Falcons with 24. He leads in receiving yards with 424 and is the Falcon’s leading scorer with six touchdowns. He is also among the leaders in tackles on defense for Fort Campbell.
Congratulations to Maurice, and a big thanks to Jersey Mike’s.
