Want an early start on Halloween?
The Kentucky softball team is hosting The Big Blue Boo 2 for the second straight year Saturday at 6 p.m. with free admission at John Cropp Stadium.
Coach Rachel Lawson’s team will be playing rival Louisville in this year’s Big Blue Boo exhibition game.
Here’s what will be part of Big Blue Boo:
— Halloween costume contest.
— Limitless amounts of candy.
— Games, BINGO, prizes, tent-or-treat, face painting.
Fans should arrive early for the Big Blue Boo activities before the game starts. But after the game, the entire UK team will sign autographs for fans.
I also really like that there will be a canned food drive that will benefit the Eastern Kentucky flood victims. Fans can donate as they enter John Cropp Stadium.
Doors to John Cropp Stadium will open at 4:30 p.m. with the game beginning at 6.

For fans who can’t attend the game (some might be watching the UK-Tennessee football game that starts at 7), it will be broadcasted live on SEC Network+ and the ESPN app.
