Derrin Boyd had a key block late, then dished out the assist on the game-winning bucket as Lipscomb edged Belmont 77-75 Monday night in the Battle of the Boulevard in Nashville.
With the game knotted in the closing seconds, the former Caldwell County star brought the ball up the court, drove the left side, then dished in the paint to Jacob Ognacevic on the pick-and-roll. Ognacevic scored from in close with just 1 second remaining to give the Bisons their 77-75 advantage.
