The Caldwell County Lady Tigers opened the season with a 59-38 win at University Heights Academy Tuesday night.
Head coach Chuck Mitchell says the team has bought into the game plan of rebounding and defense, and has also found some early-season offense.
The Lady Tigers next play at Union County on Friday.
