After losses in each of their first two games in the Adidas Shootout at Riverdale, TN, the Christian County Colonels ended their stay south of the border with a 61-53 victory over The Webb School Feet on Wednesday.
Christian County led by five after the first quarter, and JaSean Riley and Derrell Bateman combined for nine points in the second quarter to build a 30-20 advantage at the halftime break.
Breland Morrison scored six in the third for the Colonels, but Arnett Hayes and Stephen Olowoniyi each put up eight points for the Feet to cut the margin to three with a quarter to play.
Bateman put up eight of his game-high 17 points in the fourth to help seal the victory. Jordan Miles and Riley each finished with ten for the Colonels.
